Veronicastrum virginicum 'Diane' is a hardy, deciduous perennial with an erect habit. A tall grower at approx. 1.5-2 m tall when mature so good for the back of the border. Produces slender spikes of white flowers over a long period in summer. Any reasonable moisture retentive soil in sun/part-shade. Attractive to bees.
