Syringa vulgaris 'Beauty of Moscow' is a deciduous shrub or small tree with nectar-rich, fragrant white flowers loved by bees & moths. Flowers late spring. Can grow in any reasonably fertile soil in sun/part-shade. Mulch if planted in full sun to get the best flowers. Reached 2-3 m in 10 years. Hardy. Low maintenance. Grow a small Clematis through it for extra interest.
