Pulmonaria rubra 'Redstart' is a semi- evergreen, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial growing to approx. 40 cm tall x 30 cm. Large, velvety green leaves & sprays of funnel-shaped coral-red flowers from midwinter to April. Easily grown in any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in full/part-shade. Hardy to - 10 C. Tidy up old leaves before new growth appears. Wildlife friendly. Looks good when planted with Hellebores, Bergenia & Epimediums.
