Polystichum setiferum plumoso-densumis a hardy fern that produces a dense mass of overlapping slender frond in spring. Easily grown in a moist but well-drained soil enriched with leaf mould in light sun or part-shade. A tall grower reaching approx. 1.2 m x 90 cm spread. Provides shelter for foraging birds & small mammals.
