Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' AGM is a striking clump forming evergreen plant that looks like a grass. Grown for its foliage which is almost black. Purplish-white flowers in summer followed by blue-black berries. Approx. 20cm tall. Any reasonably drained soil in full sun or part-shade.
Ideal for front of border, rock area or container. Looks striking in full sun but ours grows well in shade.
