Nepeta fassenii 'Purrsian Blue' is an attractive, deciduous herbaceous perennial with sprays of lavender-blue flowers all summer over greyish-blue aromatic foliage. Can re-bloom if flowers are removed after first flush. Best in sun in well-drained soil. Compact perennial at 45 cm, but doubles its spread by its second year of growth. Can grow in the border or pot. Lovely to create a cottage garden effect. Highly floriferous. Hardy. Deer resistant. Attractive to bees.
