Magnolia laevifolia x figo 'White Caviar (SYN. Michelia)' was introduced from China-Tibet & is a compact growing, semi-evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves. Beautiful creamy-white, fragrant flowers with pink centres during May-June. Grows to approx. 2 m x 1.5 m spread. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun. Hardy.
