Geranium sanguineum 'Striatum'' AGM

Geranium sanguineum var. striatum or 'Lancastriense' is a fantastic plant.  Discovered on Walney Island it is a great plant for any garden but will tolerant salt winds.  Large shell-pink flowers are produced in early summer but then keep on coming right into late summer.  Attractive green low-growing foliage.  Approx.  20cm tall.  Not invasive but makes a lovely carpet.  Sun or part-shade in any reasonable soil not too wet.  Lovely in gravel over walls or the border.  Has been growing in our front garden for over 20 years - can stand lots of neglect!
