Flowers have rose-pink sepals & cherry-red spurs with lemon rimmed cups with a purple tint in spring. The semi-evergreen leaves turn dark purple in autumn.& flush reddish-purple in spring Approx. 37 cm tall.. Prefers a cool, shady position in any reasonable soil.
