Cytisus 'Lena' AGM (Broom)
Cytisus 'Lena' AGM is a small, compact shrub growing to approx. 120 cm x 150 cm spread in 5-10 years. Very small leaves & twigs are mid-green. Flowers are a complex mix of red, yellow & orange shades but look russet-brown from a distance. Flowers grow on slightly arching twigs in late spring/early summer. Acid to neutral, well-drained soil in full sun. Hardy & can grow in a sheltered or more exposed site. Tolerant of a wide range of soils but grow best in poor, acid soils.
