Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire'
Cornus sanguinea 'Midwinter Fire' is a bushy deciduous shrub with two-coloured stems. Stems facing the sun turn red and stay yellow in the shade. A very attractive smaller shrub to create late season interest in the garden. This is different to many other Cornus as it grows best in drier soils. In a 3 litre pot.
Looks good underplanted with spring bulbs like Snowdrops, dwarf Tulips or Narcissi.
