Cirsium rivulare 'Mount Etna' is a deciduous, herbaceous perennial growing to approx. 60 cm tall. Soft, spiny green leaves & creamy-white flowers with magenta-pink filaments in midsummer. Any reasonable soil in sun. Attractive to pollinators. Flowers can be deadheaded in autumn but if seed-heads are left on provides food for finches.
