Baptisia 'American Goldfinch' is a hardy deciduous, herbaceous perennial growing to approx. 1 m tall. Golden-yellow flower spikes of pea-like flowers rise above the foliage in late spring & early summer. Flowers are followed by seed pods. Any reasonable soil in sun/part-shade.
