Agastache 'Black Adder'
Agastache 'Black Adder' is a superb plant. We think that this is one of the best plants recently introduced. It is a clump forming deciduous perennial with smokey-lilac flowers opening from dark purple buds over a long period from July to October. Approx. 1m tall or taller so good at the back of a border or planted to make a statement. Fantastic at attracting bees and butterflies. Best in sun in a very well-drained, soil. Can be cut back to encourage a second flush of flowers.
t mixes well with other plants of similar colours or with contrasts. Nepetas with their lilac-blue flowers and silvery foliage, Echinacea in pink or white forms, Coreopsis or Anthemis.
