Acer palmatum 'Jerre Schwartz' is a compact, upright, deciduous shrub or small tree with feathery, lobed leaves. Leaves are bronze-green flushed pink in spring turning dark green then red in autumn. Inconspicuous flowers in spring followed by red-winged seed pods in autumn. Any reasonably moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Sheltered position. Hardy.
