Hydrangea paniculata 'Petite Star' PBR (Recent introduction)

Hydrangea paniculata 'Petite Star' PBR is a recent introduction. It is a compact, deciduous, well-branched shrub that is early flowering. Numerous flowers emerge lime-green then turn pure white in August then change to pink at the end of August & finally turn red at the end of the season. Starts flowering at the end of June. Flowers are 15 cm across & 15 cm long & cover the whole plant. It is both heat & cold tolerant withstanding temperatures down to -25C. Grows to approx. 50 cm x 90 cm so it is ideal for small gardens or in a pot. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. 3 litre pot.
