Acer palmatum 'Hime-shojo' is a dwarf variety of Japanese maple ideal for the small garden, border or large pot. It is a multi-stemmed variety only growing to approx. 1.2 m when mature. Foliage is bright red in early spring turning deeper red in summer & crimson-red in autumn before leaf drop. Any reasonable soil in sun/part-shade. Protect from north & east winds.
