Sedum (Hylotelephium-new name) spectabile 'Brilliant' is an easily grown, hardy succulent for sun & well-drained soil. Ideal for the front of a sunny, well-drained border or in a container only growing to approx. 45 cm x 45 cm. Grey-green leaves & flat flower heads of bright pinkish-mauve from August-November. Grow as an individual plant but it looks great pl;anted in drifts & is a valuable late source of nectar for bees & butterflies. The large, flat flower heads are an ideal landing ground.

2 litre pot

Growing tip: If your plant tends to flop over please stake it. During the following year you could give it the Chelsea chop in May. Cut 1 in 3 stems back to the base, this will leave some stems to flower first. The cut back stems will flower later but will be sturdier. If you want all your plant to be sturdier cut back all the stems in May.
