Cephalaria gigantea

Cephalaria gigantea produces primrose-yellow flowers in summer over aromatic foliage that smells of aniseed when rubbed.  An extremely tall grower ideal for the back of the border.  Attractive to bees and other insects.  A deciduous perennial growing to between 1.8-2.5m tall x 1m spread eventually.  Any reasonable soil in sun or part-shade.  Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
PLEASE NOTE:- If ordering after July the flowering stem would need to be cut off for transporting.

Either allow to self seed or collect seed, or the plant can be split in spring.
