Dryopteris erythrosora AGM or Buckler fern is a perennial, deciduous, hardy fern with unusual and attractive coppery-red new fronds in spring turning green as they age. Approx. 60 cm x 40 cm spread. Best in a shady, moist but well-drained soil with leaf mould. One of Cath's favourite ferns. Provides a valuable habitat for small mammals & foraging birds.
