Blechnum spicant AGM is a hardy fern with narrow lance-shaped fronds some spreading semi-horizontally around the base to form a rosette as they age. Easily grown in a moist, humus-rich, acid soil in partial or deep shade. Lovely in a shady border or passage. Approx. 20-50 cm x 60 cm spread. An excellent choice providing a valuable habitat for foraging birds & small mammals.
