Wisteria sinensis 'Caroline'
Wisteria sinensis 'Caroline' is a vigorous climber twining clockwise & flowering before the leaves open. Pale blue-purple, fragrant flowers are borne in dense trusses up to 30 cm long from a relatively young age. Grows to about 8 m when mature. Any reasonable, moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Hardy but needs a sheltered position.
