Syringa vulgaris 'Madame Lemoine'

Syringa vulgaris 'Madame Lemoine' is a deciduous, bushy, medium-sized shrub growing to between 2-4 m in 10- 20 years. Fragrant, double white flowers from yellowish buds from late spring to early summer. Any reasonable humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in  sun. Grows well in chalky soils. Mulch if planted in full sun. Low maintenance.
