Panicum virgatum 'JS Dark Knight' PBR (Switch grass)
Panicum virgatum 'JS Dark Knight' PBR is a deciduous perennial with blue-green leaves that turn dark wine-red in autumn. Small, greenish-purple flower spikelets are produced from July-Sept. Clump former growing to approx. 1 m tall. Easily grown in full sun in any reasonable soil (not waterlogged) even dry soils. Especially good in coastal gardens or more exposed situations.
