Sedum spec. 'Iceberg' (Stonecrop) Attractive to bees, butterflies & insect eating birds
Sedum spectabile 'Iceberg' or Hylotelphium (new name) is a hardy, clump forming, deciduous herbaceous perennial with flat heads of white flowers in summer and early autumn. The white flowers are attractive to bees & butterflies and with pale green leaves. Approx. 30-40 cm tall x 40-45 cm. Easily grown in sun in a well-drained soil. The seed heads formed in autumn attract insect (not seed eating) eating birds who enjoy eating the spiders & other overwintering bugs that use Sedums for shelter.
