Primula chionantha subsp. sinopurpurea

Primula chionantha subsp. sinopurpurea comes originally from a wild collection.  A clump former with narrow green leaves.  Several flower stems are produced with 1, 2 or 3 whorls of beautiful flowers usually purple in spring.  Approx. 60cm tall.  Best in sun in a peaty, humus-rich soil.  Lovely in a rock garden. raised bed or container.
