Paeonia lactiflora 'Gay Paree' is one of our best selling varieties. A single flowered variety with anemone-type flowers of a deep cerise pink with a pinkish-white outer shading sometimes developing some darker petals in the centre. Mid to later season flowering. Deep,fertile,humus-rich soil in sun or part-shade. Ideal in mixed shrub or herbaceous border. Divide in October if necessary. Plant with nodules on top of plant just under the surface. If planted too deeply it will not flower.
