
Lobelia tupa
An unusual plant creating an architectural feature in the border. Upright, clump forming perennial. Narrow tubular brick-red to orange-red flowers from summer to mid-autumn. Red-purple stems and light grey-green downy foliage up the stems. Approx. 2m x 90cm. Useful to give plant a dry mulch for the winter. Best near a wall or at the back of a border for protection from other plants. Full sun or part-shade in a reasonably well-drained soil. 2 litre pot.
