Kalmia latifolia 'Bay State' is a small, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves & salmon-pink or coral-pink flowers from late-spring to midsummer. Very hardy & can stand temperatures down to -34 C. Any reasonable, humus-rich soil in sun/part-shade. Can be grown in the border or pot.
