Hydrangea paniculata 'Wim's Red' PBR
Hydrangea paniculata 'Wim's Red' is a hardy, deciduous shrub growing to approx. 1.5-2 m tall x 1.5-2 m in 5-10 years. Strong, branching red-tinted stems in all seasons carry toothed, green leaves & long, cone-shaped flower clusters from spring to autumn. Flowers change colour- white in spring, pink in summer maturing to wine-red in autumn. Grow in any acid to neutral (not alkaline) moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Will grow in a sheltered or more exposed situation.

Care: To encourage larger flower heads cut strong growing stems back to a few buds in spring (March) & cut out all weak, twiggy stems.
