Hydrangea paniculata 'Switch Ophelia' (Recent introduction)
Hydrangea paniculata 'Switch Ophelia' is a compact, deciduous shrub ideal for pots or smaller gardens. It flowers for 5 months from June to October. Flowers change colour as they mature emerging greenish-white with a pink blush as the summer progresses then rich pink towards the end of the season. Grows to about 50 cm x 50 cm. Easily grown with low maintenance. If you want to enhance the flowering prune hard back to a few buds in early spring. Any reasonably fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Hardy.
