Hydrangea paniculata 'Phantom'

A beautiful variety creating a feature late in the season. Ideal for a shady place. Very large pyramidal heads of florets starting greenish-white then turning white ageing to pink over a long period. Any reasonably moist shady or partial-shady site. The size can be varied by pruning. Prune every spring down to above the first leaf growths to keep shorter or not as far down if you want a taller plant. Cut out completely any twiggy, spindly shoots.
