Hydrangea macrophylla 'Twist & Shout' is a re-blooming variety flowering over a long period from June-October. Pink lacecap flowers on alkaline soils or blue on acid soils. It has reddish stems & leaves turn red in autumn. A deciduous, hardy shrub which needs a sheltered position. A compact shrub growing to about 1 m x 1 m in 5-10 years. Any reasonable, fertile soil that is moist but well-drained in part-shade. Can grow in the border or pot & is ideal for the small garden. Mulch in spring.
