Hydrangea macrophylla 'Pia'

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Pia' is a dwarf mophead, slow growing shrub with small, rounded flowerheads up to 10 cm across.  These are densely packed with pink to purple-red florets from mid to late summer. Flowers retain their pink colour regardless of soil pH. Dark green, glossy, serrated leaves. Grows from 60-90 cm tall & wide. If needed prune after flowering. Any reasonable soil in part-shade. Can cope with full sun if constant moisture is provided. Remove spent flowers to encourage new flowers. Makes excellent cut flower fresh or dried.
