Hydrangea macrophylla 'Jogasaki'
Hydrangea macrophylla 'Jogasaki' is a rounded, bushy, deciduous shrub up to about 1.5 m x 2 m in 5-10 years. Good in the border or pot. Ideal for the smaller garden. Ovate, glossy, dark green leaves. Flattened clusters of pink or lavender-blue flowerheads reach 7-12 cm across. The double ray florets are held in a ring around the fertile florets on long, stiff stalks. Any reasonably fertile soil moist but well-drained in part-shade. Hardy but needs a sheltered position.
