Hydrangea macrophylla 'Beaute Vendomoise'
Hydrangea macrophylla 'Beaute Venomoise' is a deciduous, vigorous variety with very large pale pink sterile florets in flowerheads up to 30 cm across as the plant matures. The flowerheads turn blue on acid soils. Grows to about 1.2 m x 1.5 m. Hardy but needs a sheltered position. Any reasonable, fertile soil moist but well-drained in part-shade. It is an older variety & was bred in France in 1908.
