Hepatica transsilvanica 'Blue Jewel'
Hepatica transsilvanica 'Blue Jewel' is a slow growing semi-evergreen variety with bowl-shaped blue flowers in early spring. Humus-rich, moist but well-drained neutral to alkaline soil in part-shade. Thrives in heavy soil. Approx. 15cm tall. A jewel that can be grown in a variety of situations - raised bed or container, rock area or naturalised in a wild/woodland planted space.
