Geranium pratense 'Storm Cloud' is a compact, clump-forming, deciduous, hardy perennial that grows to approx. 50 cm x 50 cm. Cherry-red divided leaves mature to dark green edged with dark red. It produces mainly semi-double deep blue-purple flowers with a dark red frill from May-July. Easily grown in any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. It can tolerate sheltered or more exposed positions.
