A clump forming evergreen perennial with unusual foliage. Foliage is grey-green but in cold weather the young foliage turns purple giving interest to the garden in winter. Golden-yellow flowering bracts from February to June. Approx. 1m tall. Well-drained soil in sun or part-shade.
