Euphorbia mellifera AGM

Euphorbia mellifera AGM is a superb plant for an architectural impact when grown individually in the ground or large container. It also grows well in the border and will grow up north despite Christopher Lloyd's view. We have one that has been in our garden for over 15 years, if it gets cut down by frost it regrows from the root!

A large, rounded, evergreen shrub-like plant with honey scented brownish bracts in late spring followed by small fruits from summer to autumn. Lance-shaped green leaves. Approx. up to 2m or more x 2.5m. Best in well-drained soil in sun.  Sometimes the fruits are fertile and new plants spring up round about.  This is a way to either regenerate your older plants or carefully dig them up and plants them where you want them.
