Euphorbia ceratocarpa AGM (Horned spurge) Pollinator plant

Euphorbia ceratocarpa AGM is native to Sicily & southern Italy. It is a tall, hardy, evergreen, upright sub-shrub growing to approx. 170 cm x 170 cm. Foliage is mid-green & flowers are yellow-green. Its usual flowering time is spring, summer & autumn but it can produce its attractive yellow-green flowers all year round in mild conditions.  It is best to remove the faded flowers after blooming. It can cope with full sun or part or dappled shade in any reasonable moist but well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant. It is good to grow with other foliage plants as its yellow-green flowers lift darker colours. It is also a perfect foil for bold colours such as red & purple. The flowers are excellent for cutting but wear gloves as the milky sap can irritate both skin & eyes. It is also toxic. It is very attractive to wildlife as the flowers are rich in nectar & pollen.
