Echinops bannaticus 'Blue Globe' Attractive to pollinators

Echinops bannaticus 'Blue Globe' are popular for their spheres of blue flowers which attract in hoards of butterflies and insects. They produce many large, spherical dark blue flowers in July and August. They have thistle-like prickly grey-green leaves. Approx. 1 m x 45 cm. Sun or part-shade in well-drained soil. Cut down to the ground when they have finished flowering to encourage a second flush.
