Cornus alba 'Kesselringii'

Cornus alba 'Kesselringii' has striking deep purple-black stems in winter and spring. An architectural plant giving interest in the bleaker months of the year.  Dark green leaves give good autumn colour.  Creamy-white flowers in April-May followers by white fruits.  Approx.  1.5-2.4m tall.  Contrasts well with other Cornus varieties or lighter coloured/yellow evergreen shrubs. 3 litre pot.

Prune in spring when necessary and to keep good coloured stems.  To keep height prune a third to half plant at at time. Best in sun or part-shade in any reasonable soil not too dry.
