Alstromeria 'Marguerite' Bee & butterfly friendly (Peruvian Lily)
Alstromeria 'Marguerite' is a deciduous, herbaceous perennial growing to approx. 50 cm x 55 cm spread. Flowers are exotic looking, yellow with a red stripe with dark freckling & in the evening sun take on golden hues. Long flowering from April to the first frosts - deadhead when needed. Can grow in the border or pot. Easily grown in any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Good cut flower. Disease resistant. Attractive to bees & butterflies.
