Acer palmatum 'Sango-kaku' AGM is a very attractive variety of Acer with bright coral-red shoots in winter. Deeply lobed leaves open orange-red and then turn a soft yellow in autumn. Approx. 6m x 5m. Any reasonable, fertile soil in sun or part-shade. Shelter from cold winds as north and east winds and late frosts may kill/burn young leaves
