Aster amellus 'King George' AGM is a deciduous clump forming perennial with attractive large violet flowers from August into October giving a welcome addition of colour to the garden in late summer through into autumn. Approx. 45cm tall. Any reasonable soil in sun or part-shade.
Looks good when planted with Crocosmia 'Lucifer' or another Crocosmia variety, Helenium and dark flowered Dahlias.
