Aconitum 'Newry Blue' AGM produces hooded dark-blue flowers in summer over green foliage. Clump forming, deciduous hardy herbaceous perennial which grows to approx. 150cm x 50 cm when mature. Best planted in reasonable soil not too dry in part-shade. POISONOUS IF EATEN. If you have trouble with slugs then plant Aconitums instead of Delphiniums as they are not eaten by slugs
