Clematis 'Fukuzono'
Clematis 'Fukuzono' is a deciduous climber up to 1.5 m tall so can grow in the garden or large pot. Nodding flowers 10-13 cm across from late summer to early autumn. Flowers are blue-purple & deeply ribbed fading to mid-blue & opening into a wide star-shape. Pale yellow anthers on pale purple filaments. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Hardy but needs a sheltered position. Loved by bees.
