Gardening Talks.

Bob is available to give talks to your society or group during the autumn and winter months. The talk usually includes slides, growing advice, plus a look at some topical plants and where appropriate practical demonstrations. Bob is happy to answer questions either at the end or throughout the talk. If you would prefer to organise a practical workshop for your members you will need to contact us for more detailed information.

Most of the talks include a slide show plus a look at a few topical plants in the flesh and a question and answer session at the end or ongoing as questions arise.  Bob's fee for 2010 and 2011 is £70.00 plus travelling expenses for any distance over 20 miles from Levens.  Travel expenses will unfortunately be variable depending on the price of fuel at the time, but we do try to keep our costs as reasonable as possible (we give you 20 miles free in each direction for longer journeys).  Bob is available to give talks from September until early March excluding the Christmas and New Year period.

As many of you will be booking talks in advance please contact us as early as possible with your proposed date/s so that we can check the diary to see if the date is available.

We bring plants to sell and give your group/society 10% of any sales made in the form of our gift vouchers which can be used as raffle prizes, show prizes etc.  These can also be used to purchase plants from us by mail order from us (but not to cover post and packing).
