Quickly climbs with scarlet-red nasturtium-like flowers in summer through into autumn. Small rich green leaves. Best in neutral to acid-rich moist soil with flowers in sun or part-shade whilst roots and lower stems prefer cool shade. Ideal climbing through Yew or other hedges or vigorous shrubs.
